Abstract: This paper examined the place of transport in the development of a nation be it developed or developing. It attempts to analyse the nature and conditions of road transport facilities in developing economy with Remoland as the case study. Furthermore, it analyses the mobility and accessibility characteristics of the study area and applied it to other parts of the world and finally made some policy recommendations and conclusions.
