Abstract: This paper looks critically at the relevance of provision of accessible road network to rural communities and the nature and characteristics of the rural roads. It also deals with the analysis of mobility situation in the study area as well as proffer some policy strategies that will help in improving the traffic and accessibility situation in the rural environment of the sub-Saharan region.
