Abstract: In the paper, we present a mathematical model of malaria and dengue fever co-infection. We state the Disease Free and Endemic Equilibrium of the model equations. We compute the reproduction number using the next generation matrix method. Sensitivity analysis of the reproduction number was carried out. Our results shows that the disease vectors death rate is the most sensitivity parameters which further imply that eliminating or reducing the disease vector is the most effective control measure in controlling the transmission of malaria-dengue co-infection.
