Abstract: | This paper investigates the effects Information Communications Technology has on the sustainability of Digital Entrepreneurship in Nigeria. Furthermore, this paper seeks to uncover if the utilization of ICT can forecast the rate of new enter prises in the Digital Entrepreneurship sector and interrogate the attributes and interconnections inherent in Digital Entrepreneurship. Literature review using the Systematic Quantitative Assessment Technique (SQAT) was the methodology used to review 45 DE articles published in the last ten years (2012 – 2021). For a thorough, impartial amalgam of the reviewed articles, this paper analysed the types, period, location, and data collection methods of the 45 Digital Entrepre neurship papers. The review showed that existing research has been both empiri cal and conceptual in equal measure with only one instance in mixed mode. The parity suggests that future researchers should endeavour to conduct more concep tual research to underpin the envisaged accelerated growth of DE. |
