dc.description.abstractThis paper stresses the need for all Stakelholders in urban planning to have common front where issues of urban beautification can be properiy harnessed with a focus to getting the desired City. The paper denounces the neglect of the artist who is uniquely endowed with the lai to generate art works that can add piquancy to our urban city. Experience has shown that artists are not called upon by the city planners and the art works too are created by none professionals. This paper therefore takes a look at some selected work designated at some strategic roundabout in Minna metropolis. Findings indicated that the wOrks were not professionally executed by artists. The paper finally concuded that Minna township roundabouts and four major entrances to the state capital need to be redesigned by the stakeholders with public art jworks. This wil give Minna the Niger state capital national and international recognition in terms of aesthetics, economic development and beautification.en_US
