dc.description.abstractThe study examined sources of risk and management strategies among farmers in rice post-harvest management in Niger State. The research was undertaken in five Local Government areas of Niger State namely: Katcha, Lavun, Paikoro, Shiroro and Wushishi. Data obtained was achieved through questionnaires administered to 200 farmers selected through multi-stage sampling technique. Descriptive statistics was used to analyse data. The study showed that rice post-harvest management is carried out by subsistence farmers with average farm size.en_US
