dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT For an effective control of any accounting records and transaction, general ledger is very important. More so a Computerised system of general ledger will go a long way in alleviating the problems associated with the present manual system being operated like misplacement of transaction files, cash book and other vital information from' the general ledger. For the purpose of this project, the proposed Computerised system has been designed using Qbasic program ming language of micro soft disk operating system (DOS) because of it flexibility and ability to get help at any point in time.
