Authors: OJEONU, Magnus Uarevuegbe
Issue Date: Jan-2011
Abstract: ABSTRACT Payment system involves the processes through which the Federal Government pays for goods and services provided by contractors as well as employees emoluments. However, the implementation of the Manual E-Payment System is fraught with complaints of delay in payments and has not curbed the problems with the manual systems of payment that was in place. This is due to processes involved in the manual E-payment system. This project is designed to automate a system that will enhance the manual E-payment by allowing timely and easy entry of all government expenditures for payment, creation of bank schedules / Mandate Instruction to pay; as well as provide useful reports that will enhance accountability of public expenditure.
