dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was aimed at verifying and introducing a numerical computation of the solution of ordinary differential equation under initial value conditions. The numerical methods for the solution of the differential equation (dy/dx = f (x,y) y(xo) = yo) are the algorithm which will produce a table of approximation values of y(x)at certain equally spaced points called grid, nodal, net or mesh pOint along the x coordinate. Each grid point in terms of the previous point is given by the relationship. Xn + 1 = Xn + h, n = 0, 1, 2, ... , N-l Where h is called the step size. The program used a single step procedure based on the Runge - Kutta method of order N = 4 (RK4). | en_US |
