Abstract: This chapter examines how collaboration and partnership models can foster sustainable innovation in library services. It highlights the role of interlibrary networks, public-private partnerships, and community collaborations in optimizing resources, sharing knowledge, and enhancing service delivery. Drawing on global and regional examples, the chapter identifies gaps in linking collaboration systematically to sustainable library innovation, especially in African contexts. A conceptual framework is proposed, centering on stakeholder collaboration, resource and knowledge sharing, and sustainability outcomes, social, environmental, and economic. Key mechanisms include joint training, digital repositories, community engagement, and energy-efficient infrastructure. Expected outcomes include improved service access, reduced environmental impact, financial efficiency, and increased user satisfaction. The chapter concludes with recommendations for operational strategies, supportive policies, and community involvement to strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships. This framework provides a foundation for future research and practical implementation in sustainable library innovation.

Abstract: The dynamic landscape of digital transformation has compelled libraries to adopt innovative technologies that enhance transparency, efficiency, and trust in information management. Blockchain technology an immutable and decentralized ledger presents immense potential for reengineering modern library operations beyond financial transactions. This chapter explores blockchain as an innovative tool for managing contemporary libraries, focusing on its applications in metadata authentication, digital rights management, interlibrary loan systems, and preservation of digital assets. By leveraging blockchain’s core attributes decentralization, traceability, and immutability libraries can address persistent challenges such as data tampering, intellectual property infringements, and lack of interoperability among information systems. The discussion integrates insights from emerging research and global case studies to illuminate practical use cases and implementation pathways. It also examines barriers to adoption, including technological complexity, high initial costs, and limited policy frameworks, particularly within developing contexts. The chapter proposes a conceptual model for blockchain integration into library management systems, emphasizing collaborative partnerships, digital literacy development, and ethical data governance. In conclusion, blockchain technology emerges as a catalyst for transparent, secure, and future-oriented library services, aligning with the broader vision of innovation and sustainability in modern librarianship.

Abstract: Integrated Library systems (ILS) have become indispensable tools in the digital transformation of academic libraries,enabling institutions to manage core functions such as cataloguing, acquisition, and online access to resources.This review explores current practices and perspectives in the management of ILS for effective digital  service delivery in university libraries. As the demand for seamless  user-centered digital services continues to grow effective operation and integration of ILS have become crucial for ensuring timely access to knowledge, optimizing staff workflows and enhancing user experiences.The paper examines various types of ILS, including both proprietary and open-source platforms, and evaluate their roles in supporting digital services such as online public access catalogs (OPAC), remote authentication and e-resources management. It also review how university libraries have adopted different strategies to manage ILS, including vendor partnerships, cloud-based deployment, staff training, and interoperability with other digital platforms. Challenges such as budget constraints, lack of technical expertise, and system incompatibility are identified alongside best practices observed in  institutions with successful institutions.The paper further discusses the relevance of theoretical models such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Information systems success models in understanding user satisfaction and system effectiveness. This review concludes by highlighting the need for continuous assessment, user feedback, and adaptive management strategies to ensure that ILS remains a valid tool in delivering high-quality digital library services in university settings</description>
