Abstract: This study examines the impact of quality management practices and safety culture of &#xD;
furniture craftsmen on construction performance in Niger State, Nigeria. The research aims to &#xD;
identify the extent to which quality management practices and safety culture affect the &#xD;
performance of furniture craftsmen in the construction industry. The study utilizes a mixed methods research design, which involves both quantitative and qualitative data collection &#xD;
techniques. The study finds that quality management practices and safety culture significantly &#xD;
impact the performance of furniture craftsmen in the construction industry. The study &#xD;
concludes that implementing quality management practices and promoting a safety culture &#xD;
can enhance the performance of furniture craftsmen in the construction industry in Niger &#xD;
State.</description>

Abstract: The research was design to investigate the Training needs of physically challenged persons for employment in automobile firms in Anambra State. Three research question were answered and three hypotheses tested at 0.5 level of significance were formulated for the study. A survey research design was adopted for the study. The major purpose of this study is to identify the training needs of physically challenged persons for employment in automobile firms in Anambra State. Specifically, the study is designed to determine the:  Technical training needs required by physically challenge persons for employment in automobile firm in Anambra State. Employability training needs physically challenge person for employment in automobile firm in Anambra State. Challenges faced by physically challenge person for employment in automobile firm in Anambra State. The literature was reviewed in line with the three research questions, and the null hypotheses were formulated to guide the study, in which several sub-headings were discussed as regard to the purpose of the study. The research design used for this study is survey research design in which questionnaire was formulated to solicit information from respondents. The targeted population comprised of Automobile Lecture and Management staffs in automobile firms. The total population for the study is 100 which consisted of 79 automobile lecturer and 21 management staffs in automobile firms in Anambra State. Data obtained was analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test statistics. the study concluded and recommended the following: It is important to have preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance strategies adopted and integrated into the daily activities such that Check and maintain electrical motors and other power sources, Use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to managed, analyzed, and compared sensor data, Replacement of worn shock absorbers or worn suspension components, Routine maintenance exercise such as oiling greasing, and cleaning of vehicles should be carried out as well as quality assurance for training needs of physically challenge persons for employment in Anambra State. strategies for improving vehicle maintenance practices in NSTA, Minna.</description>

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to assess the Impact of the 21st century Forest Product industry on the economy of Shiroroand Bosso Local Government Area of Niger state. Four research questions and three null hypotheses tested at 0.05 level of significance guided the study. A survey research design was adopted for the study. The population for the study comprised of20 participants in sawmill industry (10 from each local government area); 30 participants in large- and small-scale carpentry (15 from each local government area), 30 households (15 from each local government area) and 10 staffs of ministry of agriculture and rural development (5 from each local government area), making a total of 90 participate. A structured questionnaire consisting of 34 items was used for data collection. Data collected were analyzed using mean and standard deviation for the research questions while t-test was used for testing the null hypotheses. It was found from the study that timber, charcoal, fuelwood, medicinal plants/herbs, wildlife, mushroom, paper, edible nuts, fruits are the major forest product harvested in Shiroro and Bosso local government area of Niger state. The findings of the study revealed that it has increased the creation of many jobs, revenue generation, sustainable development, innovation into local governments, exportation of forest products, carbon sequestration, climate change mitigation, natural trade and also It has led to more ecotourism activities and biodiversity conservation.  The findings of the study revealed that It has increased direct employment, indirect employment, seasonal employment (as in transportation, marketing and packaging), small business development, jobs in sustainable forest Management.It was recommended that Establishment of forest information data base since there are no reliable, consistent and comprehensive statistics about forest</description>

Abstract: The present study aimed to investigate the impact of student-teacher relationships on &#xD;
academic performance in technology education. The study was conducted using a &#xD;
sample of students and teachers from technology education programs in selected &#xD;
schools. The research utilized a quantitative method, with a self-administered &#xD;
questionnaire to collect data from students and teachers. The results showed that there &#xD;
was a positive relationship between student-teacher relationships and academic &#xD;
performance. Students who reported having positive relationships with their teachers &#xD;
were found to have higher levels of academic achievement compared to students who &#xD;
reported negative relationships with their teachers. These findings suggest that fostering &#xD;
positive student-teacher relationships can contribute to the academic success of &#xD;
technology education students. The study highlights the importance of teachers &#xD;
investing time and effort in building positive relationships with their students to enhance &#xD;
academic performance and student engagement in the classroom.</description>
