Abstract: The study investigated the awareness of digital eco-literacy concepts, availability and perceived impacts of digital technologies among pre-service science teachers of Federal University of technology Minna (FUT Minna). The study was guided by three objectives and research questions.Descriptive survey research design was adopted. the population of the study was 525 graduating science pre-service teachers in the university. Stratified sampling technique was used in the selection 217 pre-service teachers from the school of science and Technology education, FUT Minna. data was generated using a research instrument tagged QADIEC which was validated by experts, and found reliable with Cronbach Alpha's coefficient of 0.08. The generated data was analysed using descriptive statistics, mainly frequency counts, percentages,mean and  standard deviation respectively. Analysis was conducted using Statistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS) version 23. The results indicated the pre-service science teachers have moderate awareness of concepts of digital eco-literacy, highly aware of available digital technologies and had positive perception of the impacts of digital technologies on ecosystem. The research recommended among others that stakeholder should liaise to integrate the eco-liteacy concepts in to independent content to be learned by students at tertiary education for sustainable development in Nigeria

Abstract: Acquisition of effective and innovative assessment knowledge and techniques among 21st century teachers are paramount to the attainment of educational goals of any nation. This underscores the need to educate and equip teachers at all levels of education on the crucial innovative assessment practices expected for the production of accurate and reliable feedback information during and after classroom instruction. The paper explored and discussed tests and some key psychometric properties that teachers should be conversant with in order to improve the quality of teacher-made tests which could generally result in the enhanced classroom assessment and evaluation. The paper further enumerated adoptable practical steps in item construction for school teachers and lecturers capable of improving the validity and reliability of the conventional teacher-made tests using effective and modern techniques in educational testing which could enhance the achievement of educational objectives. The author recommended among others, that teachers and lecturers should be having consistent refresher virtual and physical training opportunities as to be abreast of innovative assessment practices and techniques in learning institutions across the world as to foster best practices in educational testing

Abstract: This study explored the intricate relationship between eco-literacy and economic development in the Nigerian context. Eco-literacy defined as the understanding of ecological principles and capacity to make informed decisions for environmental sustainability, has gained increasing significance in light of global environmental challenges.In Nigeria, a country rich in natural resources but facing environmental degradation, the interplay between eco-litaracy and economic development presents a critical avenue for progress.This paper delved in to multifaceted ways in which eco-literacy can drive economic development. As the nation seeks to diversify its economy beyond oil dependency , embracing eco-friendly practices and industries can foster innovations, create jobs and enhance global competitiveness. Furthermore, a populace equipped with eco-literacy can advocate for sustainable policies leading to the preservation of natural resources and reduction of ecological footprints.Increasing access to education campaign can empower individuals with the knowledge to make environmentally conscious choices. The paper further highlighted that inadequate environmental education, infrastructure, socio-economic disparities and policy implementation gaps serve as barriers to smooth symbiotic relationship between two concepts. From the analysis, the paper realized that successful eco-literacy initiatives could impact  economic sectors such as agriculture, energy and mining.In conclusion, fostering eco-literacy in Nigeria can catalyze a positive feedback to sustain and boost the symbiotic relationship above all lead to substantial economic growth and development in the country

Abstract: The study investigated the awareness of digital eco-literacy concepts among pre-service  science teachers in Federal university of technology Minna, Nigeria. The population of the study comprised 525 pre-service science teachers, and simple random technique was used in getting 217 samples guided by Krejie and Morgan (1970)The concepts under study included energy management,e-waste management and digital eco-citizenship concepts.Descriptive survey research design was used for the study.This design was considered most appropriate because it is a method involving seeking and searching for opinion of pre-service science teachers at the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State through the use of a questionnaire named QADIEC with a reliability coefficient of 0.87 using Cronbach Alpha.The questionnaire comprised two(2) sections response pattern with a modified four-point awareness rating scale. The data collected was analyzed using the frequency count, percentages, mean scores and  standard deviation using SPSS version 23.The decision rule regarding agreeing and disagreeing was based on a mean range of 0-2.49(disagreed/rejected, and 2.50-4.00 (agreed/accepted). The outcomes of the study indicated that there was high awareness and lack of practice regarding the concepts of digital eco-literacy among pre-service science teachers of FUT Minna. This signified the growing need of addressing the environmental impacts of digital technologies of the era. educational institutions in the state should among others ensure a collaboration of institutions, government agencies, technology companies and environmental organizations in promoting digital eco-literacy via the integration of the concepts in to education to foster critical thinking and and encourage sustainable development and conservation of our environment in the present and future times.
